As a Sex Therapist, I value creating open and accepting therapeutic relationships to work towards goals, personal growth and development. I utilize an eclectic and holistic approach to counseling to assist each client through life transitions, gain insight into thoughts and behaviors, and work through barriers. I provide an environment that encourages wellness, healing, and growth.
I have experience working with military and first responders with a variety of needs from PTSD, stress management, retirement, addiction, and sexual issues. I am passionate about helping those who take care of our communities. I have experience with individuals struggling with addiction. I have had experience with cultural and sexual diverse clients.
I work with acute, complex, and chronic trauma to help guide individuals through understanding and healing. A therapy I utilize for these are Brainspotting techniques to assist in healing and help individuals gain connections to their body. Melissa is located in Indianapolis, Indiana, and will be seeing clients virtually and in-person soon.
