Two people can experience the same traumatic event and have two very different reactions. Treating trauma means treating the individual. I utilize trauma-informed methods and work from a collaborative approach with the client to determine the speed and depth of our work together. I use EMDR for trauma due to its focused nature and effectiveness.
Trauma can leave us feeling like we don't matter and we have to figure out things on our own. That is not true! I will be with you every step of the way as we navigate how the trauma has affected you and ways you can heal and begin life anew.
