Are you secretly miserable? Do you find yourself excessively worrying, overthinking, & trying to get everything right? Do you feel unworthy? Do you have a hard time saying no, using your voice, or setting boundaries? Do you put other people's needs before your own? Perhaps you feel overwhelmed & pressured to have it all together. Have you tried to figure out where you’re getting stuck & the usual ways of coping with the pressure are no longer working? Shame, conflict in your relationships, & uncertainty about your future only add to your distress. You are tired & know you need to make changes. I can help.
Gestalt Therapy allows space for the emergence of what is keeping you stuck - patterns, behaviors, thought processes, and beliefs that are limiting your life. In the context of our relationship, you are going to transform and change and be able to find and use your voice. You will recognize limiting beliefs and replace them with empowering truths.
Gestalt Therapy goes beyond looking at the cognitive, linear perspectives of the person with its focus on process rather than content, paying particular attention to your body, you will gain an experiential awareness of how and what you do and new choices will emerge spontaneously. I offer online sessions (NY, WA, TX & NC) and "Walk and Talk” Therapy in NC.
