About
My patients are people who are open to new ways of interpreting their struggles and motivated to make changes. Their goals for treatment would include: improving their independence, increasing their self-esteem, learning to communicate assertively, and gaining insight into the mental health struggles. They would want to improve their outlook on life and improve their relationship with themselves and the healthy people in their lives.
I want to meet each patient where they are at, so I would be able to offer an approach to treatment that is individualized to each person's specific needs. Mellissa’s goals towards treatment are offering a safe place for each patient to build their self-esteem which allows them to open their minds to understanding that they deserve a better life.
If you are struggling with mental health or need someone unbiased to talk to about your life transitions, I promise to be compassionate, understanding, and patient. My main goal is to allow you to have input in your mental health treatment. I find that patient input allows you to feel more involved in your treatment, and the opportunity to better your life!
