Hello! My name is Melissa Alexander and I am an LMFT and a Registered Art Therapist. I typically work with adolescents and young adults that are going through stage of life struggles, dealing with depression or with anxiety. I also have some experience working with disordered eating and grief. I believe in a client centered approach, as well as using some creativity in sessions! I use a mixture of CBT and narrative therapy, along with solution focused aspects. I like to embody these theories through the use of Art Therapy.
I strive to create a calm and peaceful environment for my clients. My hope is that my clients feel comfortable and able to share without worry of judgment.
