Melissa A. Tillman is the founder of New View Psychology Group and is a licensed clinical and school psychologist. Her practice consists of expert mental health practitioners who specialize in treating children, adolescents, and adults using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is research based, goal oriented, and considered the most efficacious method to treating a wide range of emotional and behavioral difficulties, including anxiety and mood related disorders. She earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical and School Psychology and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Psychology from Hofstra University.
New View clinicians personalize treatment plans to meet each client's unique needs, integrating component of mindfulness, communication training, social skills, and DBT . We are dedicated to helping our clients improve the quality of their lives. We provide practical, insightful, and present-focused approach to help clients overcome obstacles.
Our goal is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental collaborative environment where we can work with patients and their families to reach their goals and overcome obstacles that have been holding them back.

New Mom's Support Group

The transition to parenthood is difficult for all new mothers. Feelings of isolation, inadequacy, and uncertainty are very common, with some new moms also experiencing anxiety, sadness, and frustration. Under the guidance of an experienced licensed psychologist, New View Psychology Group will be hosting monthly support groups for new moms in a safe, non judgmental, and supportive environment to help code with all the challenges of parenting.
