The decision to start counseling can be a tough one to make and it takes courage to be able to reach out for help. I work with adults who struggle with anxiety, ADHD, relationship issues, trauma and PTSD. I also work with couples and help them strengthen their relationships through growth, healing, and acceptance. My style of counseling is strengths-based, humanistic, non-judgmental, and client-centered, meaning that trust and respect are at the forefront of the therapeutic relationship. At this time, I am only seeing clients via telehealth (online).
I have a Master’s degree from Augusta University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have worked in a variety of settings which has enhanced my world view of culture and diversity. I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD and I am certified in both Prepare/Enrich and The Developmental Model for couples work.
Therapy is a great tool to gain perspective or learn how to trust in what feels like a hopeless/scary situation. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and look forward to the good work that lies ahead. Life is tough sometimes (kids, work, marriage - those things are not always easy), but the tough is what makes life great. I am here to help you find your strength.
