Each client has a story and emotional pain that they carry into their first session. As your therapist, I will actively listen to your story, ease your discomfort and assist you in identifying your strengths to decrease your pain while establishing a rapport with you. In your first session, you will be informed of what to expect in therapy based on your treatment goals. All sessions will be collaborative in nature, inspire hope, and insightful.
I have over 15 years of experience treating mental health and substance use disorders. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, social skills training, anger management, solution focused therapy and motivational interviewing. I am currently offering therapy to address depression, anxiety, insomnia, anger, and PTSD.
My goal is to assist you in your journey to recovery. To ensure your journey to recovery is successful, it is important that you understand what you are experiencing and why. I will not only help you process your thoughts and feelings, but I will educate you on your illness and equip you with the tools necessary to maintain mental stability.
