Pierson Counseling is a small practice, which means I can offer scheduling flexibility and individualized attention that most therapists can't. I can also offer appointments within the week, eliminating the long wait lists of a large practice and getting you the help you need right away.
With over a decade of experience, I work most with those struggling with anxiety, depression, and ADHD as well as trauma histories and family conflicts. I particularly enjoy helping parents understand and help their own children who are suicidal, self harming or other signs of mental health distress.
I am trained in providing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, but also incorporate a variety of counseling approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
