I am a licensed Social Worker (LCSW) with 30 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach to therapy varies based on client's needs. I strive to empower clients to develop skills that can address and positively impact their area of concern in a meaningful manner.
I value the client's insight and respect their right to self determination while providing options and support based on their needs. I also strive to meet my clients where they are and to respect their life experiences. I enjoy working with adults who are struggling with anxiety and depression concerns.
I tailor dialog and treatment plans to meet unique and specific needs. I have a sense of humor but am careful how I use this as to assure that I am being respectful and appropriate. I set up a welcoming and non judgmental environment that allows for clients to feel open to sharing their feelings, fears and concerns with me.
