I specialize in supporting families, couples, and parents while also working with individuals around these areas. My goal is to help clients overcome challenges that leave them feeling stuck. This includes improving communication, building positive relationship behaviors, and implementing practical conflict resolution strategies. I strive to create a safe environment for individuals, partners and family members to openly express their needs and experiences, gaining awareness of emotional patterns to transform them in pursuit of their goals. As a therapist, I am empathetic, committed, compassionate, and solution-focused.
I have had extensive training in couples, family and parent-child interventions for almost 20 years. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital and worked as staff in the Family and Couples Therapy Program in the Department of Psychiatry where I still hold a research appointment.
My passion is to help family members enjoy healthy and happy lives together with their partners, children, siblings and parents. With compassion and understanding, I work to help clients build on their strengths and to realize the personal growth they are committed to achieving.
