I love working with children. I see children beginning at age 6. Today children face issues that were not present 10-15 years ago, things like the effects of social media, anxiety, bullying, divorce, low self esteem and many other issues. My goal is to help children through the use of play and art therapy techniques work though their issues. I also see adolescents and adults. In their sessions, I offer art therapy techniques, and talk therapy. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Client Centered Therapy in my sessions.
I enjoy working with people. I offer empathetic listening skills that are free of judgement. It is my desire to help others as they work through difficulties on their life's journey.
From the first session, I feel it is important to build a rapport with each client. I recognize that people have uniquely different needs. I strive to meet each client where they are to help them process their needs and goals for a stronger mental health.
