VIRTUAL Dialectical behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Training Group in San Jose . Learn Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotional regulation and Distress Tolerance. In- person and virtual groups for individuals who participate in the full DBT program. Tuesdays 1-2:30 pm and Thursdays from 5:15-6:45 pm. Learn to manage emotions and reach your goals. Change complex behaviors including anger, emotional crisis, anxiety, and depression, and any other condition where emotions get in the way of getting the life you want. Depression Group Skills Training

This group teaches empirically supported skills in Mindfulness, Emotion regulation, Distress Tolerance and the latest techniques from Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. This group is for individuals already working with an individual therapist. Format is similar to a small, interactive college class with homework, interactive learning and skill practice. Supportive, warm, and engaging environment designed to instill hope and encouragement. This is not a process group and is for individuals wanting a structured learning environment. Clients will leanr how to prevent depression relapse, be skillful during times of intense unwanted emotions, and improve their overall day to day functioning.
