Are you experiencing negative thinking, sadness, anxiety, irrational fears, excessive worry, irritability, relational conflict, mistrust, and insecurity? I recognize that many people get "stuck" and struggle to make the change that they desire. You're not alone in your struggle and there is help available. Allow me to support you and or your loved one, in widening your path to emotional wellness. I have 22 years of clinical experience. I specialize in perinatal mental health, attachment/bonding issues, couples in conflict, and trauma.
I have extensive experience in perinatal mental health and I am a certified PMH-C. I am trained in Child-Parent Psychotherapy and Theraplay; models that improve bonding and attachment between caregivers and children who have experienced trauma. I'm also trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness.
Together we will seek to understand how "what has happened to you" relates to "what you are currently experiencing." I use reflective practice to help make meaning of your experiences, so that we can work together to promote growth and change. Call or email for a brief phone consultation. I look forward to joining you on your journey to healing.
