I love supporting clients through journeys of self-discovery of all kinds, and I am passionate about the support I provide. I am working towards specializations in depression, social anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder (worry), Trauma, Adjustment/Life Transitions, Self-Esteem, LGBTQIA+ Support, Relationship Concerns, Caregiver Support, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. I work with adolescents and adults. I I have spent most of my professional career thus far specializing in supporting adolescents who hold marginalized sexual and/or gender identities and I find great joy and purpose in doing so.
I utilize approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. However, I believe that the most important thing in therapy is the relationship between a therapist and client, and I make sure this is a priority throughout treatment.
Although it doesn’t have to be, therapy can be a scary thing, especially if it’s your first time. I will give you space to share with me if you ever feel like your experience of therapy isn’t fitting your needs, and I will work collaboratively with you to ensure that your treatment feels helpful and affirming.
