Everyone deserves empathetic help and support. Clients who are experiencing addiction or are in recovery, as well as their loved ones, are my specialty. Clients affected by anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma are also a population I frequently work with, especially younger adults. No matter what you are coming to therapy for, I strive to build a collaborative relationship with my clients, and to help you to make the changes you are seeking for your life and overall well-being.
I integrate different modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR), depending on what you as the client need at the given moment. Utilizing mindfulness, breathing, and meditation both in and out of session has proven to be helpful. A focus on the resilience and capability each client has is also important.
Every client has the capacity to reach and maintain peace and contentment. I strive to be a supportive guide as you do the day-to-day work of making the changes you want to see in yourself. Empathy, unconditional positive regard, and humor are the hallmarks I use in building relationships with clients. Please reach out to begin your therapy journey!
