As a native of Las Vegas, I love giving back to the community by offering support and well being to those in need. I have experience working with people from a variety of different cultures and walks of life including four years of experience working with members of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, Tohono O”dham Tribe, and Hopi Tribe. I'm experienced in treating Trauma, PTSD, Adolescent Issues, Life Transitions, and Women's Issues.
I apply evidenced based practices to my treatment such as Trauma Focused Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Motivational Enhancement Therapy (Teens), Basic EMDR, and Seeking Safety for adults and teens. I also have experience as a military family wife, child, and Military Family Life Counselor.
My personal therapeutic style involves employing a narrative approach and engaging my clients in a therapeutic conversation after proper relationship building and assessment for healthy outcomes.
