Therapist focusing on trauma, skill building, and mediation. I believe mental health is simple, yet it can be frustrating because it is also complex. Too often we look for magical or quick fixes for problems when the solutions are very common. Usually it is a number of things that create the problem, not just one contributor and often our society treats the symptom not the cause. As a society we should be focusing on preventative health, getting in front of the problem, and not waiting until it has already occurred to seek help. Having said that... there is always a solution, it just may not be what you expected.
I have experience working with the military, with trauma, with conflict, and with skill building. I utilize a trauma therapy that is effective in as little as 45 minutes with no talking needed. I am on the Supreme Court Roster for Mediators, trained in couples therapy with Gottman and utilize skill building and change of perception to improve lives.
I believe that we are all human. We all make mistakes and we can all learn from them. Good people may do bad things at times and bad people may do good things. To know character or real intent one must look for a pattern of behavior over time. This includes ourselves. I can help with that. I pay attention to behavior and then teach skills for improvement.
