Welcome to my page! My name is Mel Shannon and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. My counseling style is kind, empathetic, client-centered, and solution focused. My number one goal as a therapist is to help my clients feel safe talking about whatever is going on in their lives and to help them move forward and reach their goals. I believe in being genuine and open with my clients and moving at whatever pace they need to feel safe, comfortable, and understood. I believe that everyone has great potential to make improvements in their lives and with the right relationship and help, it can be achieved!

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families to improve quality of life and to teach skills to help people manage difficult situations and to heal.
