My name is Melanie Davis, and I received my master’s in counseling degree from Lindenwood University in Saint Louis, MO. I have over 20 years’ experience working in the mental health field. I have worked for several years in community- based rehabilitation programs for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. I also have experience working within the school system providing therapy to assist children as they navigate school relationships and learning.
As a therapist, I desire to create a safe space for clients to explore their issues and concerns as they increase their own self- awareness. Life happens to all of us, and I find it rewarding to provide support for individuals and groups who need help with life challenges. I believe in having a very down to earth and comfortable approach to therapy.
I believe in putting the client first and choose to partner with the client on their journey of finding fulfillment in life. I currently reside in the DFW area and accept clients 13 and up.
