About
As a psychologist with doctoral and post-doctoral training in psychotherapy I work with people across the lifespan to achieve their fullest potential. Many adults come to me struggling with anxiety, depression, or relationships issues; lacking satisfaction in their academic or professional lives; or wrestling with life transitions. Young adults and teens need help navigating complex social terrain, managing stress, and risky behaviors while their parents benefit from guidance and support. Children benefit from play therapy and the involvement of their families in treatment.
Therapy with me is interactive, direct, warm, and compassionate. Together, we will focus on what lies underneath problematic behaviors and painful feelings while simultaneously building skills needed to change and grow. I integrate psychodynamic principles with solution focused treatment approaches such as DBT to tailor therapy specifically to you.
My approach focuses on creating lasting change to help you live a more thoughtful, fulfilling, and rewarding life. Choosing a therapist is about finding the right fit for you. I look forward to speaking with you to see if my style matches your needs.
