It is a long road to proficiency and expertise in Emotionally Focused Therapy. For the first 5 years it was very hard and then one day everything clicked. It was like the moment when a musician starts to see the musical notes as breathing and color and it becomes a symphony of knowing in the mind. It's become my lifes work. Seeing and guiding emotion.
Most of my work is with personal relationships. I have a lot of experience with divorce, re-partnering, rebuilding in the aftermath of a breakup, Couples, Marriage, Adult Siblings, Parents and Pre-Marital Counseling. I am also a Certified Coach with specialty training in career counseling and a Certified Circle of Security Parent Educator.
