Hello and welcome! If you're looking for a therapist for yourself or your child, I can help. Although many people are able to express exactly what is causing them stress (or why), it's also common to struggle with putting it into words. You might feel anxious or depressed more days than not. Clients who seek me out often experience overwhelming emotions but might also feel low and unmotivated, or even detached. If you're a parent, you might be concerned about your child but feel unsure how to help them. I'd like to partner with you on how to make things better for you!
My training in play therapy helps me actively engage clients in creative ways while they process what's going on inside. I also use traditional talk therapy for clients who prefer to talk things out. And I can incorporate yoga and mindfulness to help slow down thoughts, engage your feelings at a body-mind level, and release stress that is so hard to let go.
Therapy may feel daunting at first. My hope is that by incorporating playful, creative, and grounding experiences in our journey together, it may lead to a more comfortable and freeing process.
