I have been in private practice for five years and use an integrative approach specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. My belief is that at one time or another we all need support that can be objective. I am client centered and use positive reinforcement to assist others in finding solutions. I have worked with major mental illness from 2002 until 2017. I did intensive community outreach and became a program director in 2007 for PACT ( Program for assertive community treatment). I enjoy clinical work and problem solving solutions as part of my therapy practice.
I have been working with a wide age range and see children as well as adults. I am adaptable and can assist with strategizing coping skills and identify solutions.
My practice is a safe judgement free zone where one can be heard, vent frustrations and come up with solutions.
