I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I’ve worked in the mental health field in both a hospital and government setting for the past 14 years. I consider it a privilege to work with clients in helping them reach their goals in treatment. Life can be overwhelming for a number of reasons and it's natural to seek help to find clarity and stability. Using Solution Focused Therapy I can help you work through a crisis and better understand your feelings amid struggle. The journey can be hard and very emotional, but it is worth the time and energy you put in.
I work with adults and couples. I am comfortable dealing with clients who have severe and persistent mental illness and clients who struggle with day-to-day challenges. We will work together to assess your unique needs and capacities. By intently listening to your personal stories and practicing self-reflection, we will build upon your strengths.
During the first session with me, clients should expect to give a brief mental health history and their current challenges. By the end of the session, clients should have an understanding of how future sessions will be conducted and a beginning goal.
