About
My goal as your therapist is to create a safe space where you are able to explore areas of your life that you want to change for the better. I utilize a strengths based and holistic approach to treatment. I believe that our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interconnected. The therapeutic relationship is a fantastic starting point to promote self growth and recognition that you are able to implement change. I look forward to meeting you!
I have experience working with adults in outpatient settings for individuals, couples and groups. I utilize cognitive behavioral, EMDR, interpersonal, solution focused and narrative therapies as well as motivational interviewing. My treatment focus includes anxiety, depression, substance abuse and dependency, trauma and relationship/marriage issues.
During our time together, I will utilize a combination of treatment modalities that best suit your needs and desire for change. I believe that when you feel safe and are enabled to explore multiple areas of your life, that is when change starts to occur.
