To me, the best thing about seeing a therapist is that you are guranteed a caring listener who is going to accept you without judgement. Many people lack this kind of support in thier life. Everytime I sit down with a new client and am granted the privilage of hearing thier story, I feel honored. I know it can be scary and difficult to open up to somone and I appreciate that I am being invited into the lives of my clients. My goal is to be an advocate, a sounding board and a cheerleader for every person that I see.
I have worked with a range of clients since 2010. I have extensive experience and training in trauma-informed therapy. I specialize in working with high-functioning creatives and short-term therapy helping college students and professionals in "layover" periods as they prepare to move into new phases.
My goal when working with any client is to equip the client with the skills to successfully navigate his or her own life in a healthy and rewarding way. I am an eclectic therapist. I draw from many theoretical orientations to create a therapeutic experience that is as unique as the individuals I encounter.
