Hi! My name is Melanie Cephas, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas working with clients via Telehealth. I am a therapist who specializes in working with individuals between the ages of 12-30 that struggle with anxiety, depression, anger management, unresolved past trauma, stress, grief/loss, relationship issues, and lack of social and communication skills. I use a variety of various interventions, such as EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, and multiple other therapies and techniques to meet each client's individual needs.
I provide a warm, encouraging, empathetic atmosphere and use a collaborative approach to work with you. As your therapist, my goal is to provide you with a safe space where you feel comfortable and help you get to a place where you can work towards healing and say goodbye to anger, sadness, fear, and anxiety and say hello to peace, hope, love, and joy.
