I understand that taking the first step in seeking services can often be the most difficult. I want to start by saying welcome and that I am glad you are here! My name is Melanie Borland and I am an LPC-IT who works primarily with adolescents, teens, young adults and families. I base my work within a holistic approach that acknowledges the psychological, social, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of one's whole-self. I strive to provide a welcoming environment by meeting my clients where they are at, acknowledging their journey thus far and supporting them in their progress ahead.
While working towards licensure as an LPC-IT I also bring experience in the background of education as I am also a licensed School Counselor and can provide educational support and recommendations.
Together, we will work collaboratively to identify barriers and create appropriate and realistic goals in achieving personal growth and success. I look forward to taking this next step together as we work to build positive and progress driven goals.
