So many of us have trouble making decisions or deepening relationships, because we learned to connect with others needs above our own. While this was adaptive, it often leads to disappointment and resentment. I work with individuals and couples stuck in this cycle. So, what’s next? In this work, time is dedicated to exploring what makes you - you - and how those patterns are impacting (positively & negatively) your relationships. Simply said, change doesn’t occur spontaneously. Instead the right balance of another option and the lived experience that the past just ain't working, allows one to try something different.
My clinical experiences have revealed that few of us had relationality modeled, that’s why it’s so hard. Not having that connection can lead to loneliness, blame, anger, and despair. Popular themes in session include communication skills, deeper connections, fear, shame, and grief. I pull from mind-body work, CBT, mindfulness, RLT, and ketamine.
I work through an interactive model where curiosity is the compass. My work is grounded in transparency, it's okay to ask why. I am a fellow traveler in this journey. My clients describe me as genuine, smart, caring, and always human. I look forward to connecting with you.
