Hi there, my name is Melanie and I'm excited to help you on your journey of self-discovery and healing! The first step can be the hardest, but being here means you're ready for change. One of the beauties of therapy is that it's unique to everyone. Through a person-centered approach, we can work together to create a plan that best fits your goals and needs. With empathy, empowerment, and care, every individual can grow, heal and create the life they want to live. My primary objective is to provide a safe space for you to process your thoughts and emotions, without judgement, so you can become the best version of yourself.
I am EDMR trained with experience in Addictions with Co-occurring disorders, Trauma & PTSD, Grief, Self-Esteem, Adverse Childhood Experiences, and see Adults, Adolescents and kids ages 7 and up. I'm an LGBTQ+ ally and am Bilingual in Spanish & English. I use different therapeutic approaches, specifically Eclectic Therapy, to utilize various techniques.
I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mercer University and my Bachelor’s in Psychology at Georgia State University.
