I specialize in working with adults experiencing: stress, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, grief, mild/moderate depression, and adjustment to chronic illness. I utilize Mindfulness-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MiCBT) supplemented with research-informed tools from Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and biofeedback.
We all experience stress. How you respond makes all the difference. I support clients to change their experience of stressful events. My work is rooted in CBT and I'm trained in multiple mindfulness techniques and am a HeartMath Certified Practitioner for Stress Anxiety and Emotional Regulation.
My intention is to provide you with a culturally responsive and inclusive space to explore your lived experiences, intersectionality of your identities, and to discover more deeply who you are. Through therapy, we’ll work together to explore the roots of your stressors, improve your awareness, and change your behavior patterns.
Together we collaboratively develop a treatment plan that’s right for you. You’ll also learn and practice research-informed tools that can help address your experience of stress.
