Hello and Welcome! My name is Meghan (She/Her). I work with folks seeking freedom and relief from trauma, anxiety, depression, and whatever else is getting in the way of you living the life you want. I've worked with folks exploring personality, identity, sexuality, relationships, motivation, body image, the multitude of gender representations, fear of self or others, and exploration of identity. I believe people become who they are in relation to others. Understanding yourself as a person, parent, child, friend, partner, or any other identity is key to happiness and well-being. I'm happy to discuss more in a consultation.
My practice is affirming of all relationship types, sexual orientations, religions/spirituality, body types, kink identity/lifestyles, races, ethnicity, cultures, gender representations and identities, ages, documentation statuses, socio-economic statuses, education, and those who feel all of these labels are oppressive and don't identify with any of them.
I'm not a counselor who "sits there and nods". I'm an active participant in this process. We're in this together. I will validate you AND I will challenge you, but only in ways that are centered around your needs. Being a human is hard, and trying to change, whether big or small, is even harder.
