Reaching out and asking for help is often a brave and difficult first step. There are many reasons why people seek out therapy. I work to create a safe and supportive environment for all of my clients, so that they may begin to explore and understand themselves, their feelings, and their way of relating to others. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and a strong therapeutic relationship enables change to happen. I tailor my approach to meet each of my client's unique needs.
My practice is informed by humanistic, existential, feminist, and multicultural theory. With a strong generalist background, I have experience working with a wide range of clinical concerns and clients with diverse backgrounds across multiple dimensions, including race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, immigration status, & age.
I have over ten years of clinical experience working in a variety of settings, including community mental health, university counseling centers, nursing homes, and private practice. I have particular expertise working with healthcare professionals, including students training for a career in healthcare.
