You’ve been trying to do the right thing - to heal from what hurt you, to process trauma, to move on, to stop coping in unhealthy ways, but it's complicated. The strategies that once helped you survive no longer bring relief and are starting to make you feel worse. Even in moments of clarity, you always feel on edge and your mind doesn't rest. You want to heal and feel relief, but part of you is afraid that you'll fall apart without the only coping skills that ever seemed to work.
In early recovery, it's common to feel more raw before things get better. My work helps you build new ways to soothe your body and mind while you heal.
I specialize in EMDR therapy and work with people who feel stuck despite insight and effort. If traditional talk therapy has not brought the relief you hoped for, it doesn’t mean you weren't trying hard enough. Trauma lives in the nervous system, not just in your thoughts—and you can’t out-think your way out of it.
My work emphasizes safety, regulation, and utilizes EMDR to support deeper processing and lasting change. Therapy with me is collaborative, paced with care, supportive and designed to help you feel—not just understand—real relief. If you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I am here to help - you don't have to do this alone.
I look forward to meeting you!
