I love working with adolescents and young adults. It is a passion of mine to help each individual cultivate their own strengths and grow into the person he/she/they wants to be. I find working with this age group both rewarding and fascinating because they are in such a period of growth and change. Often times, being this age can feel overwhelming, lonely and like no one understands you. I hope that I can be the person that helps you to realize you are not alone and that developmentally this is a challenging time in life.
I also hope to help to alleviate symptoms that you might be experiencing. I am excited to go on a journey with you and explore what has been holding you back from being the best version of yourself. I truly believe that each person is an individual, and do not practice the same for each person I see.
I will cater to what your needs are in the moment, and when you grow and change, we will work on different skill sets or challenges you may be facing. What should you know about me? This group is for youth looking for a safe space to share related experiences and build community. Topics of discussion will include self-esteem, stress management, bullying, talking with parents and finding outside supports. Age range is from 7th-12th grade.
