Hello my name is Meghan Giles, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I am passionate about working collaboratively with individuals to help empower them to create lasting change. I have worked with adults, teens, and children that are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and communication difficulties. For the past 6 years I have treated children from 5-12 years of age in the school setting and virtually during COVID. Additionally I have treated adolescents struggling with stress, anxiety, and depression.
We will work collaboratively to meet your goals. I typically like to use client centered approach as each individual moves through therapy at a different pace. I like to utilize techniques and interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Humanistic, and Trauma Informed practices. With children, I typically use art and play interventions
I believe I create a relaxed environment that’s non judgemental and empathetic. I have also supported teachers dealing with stress from the profession and other life stressors. I have a passion for working with those experiencing infertility, pregnancy loss, pregnancy, and postpartum.
