As someone who values genuineness, compassion, and transparency, I aim to create a space where clients can be vulnerable and authentically themselves. I feel healing occurs when client’s feel seen, supported, and validated. You can expect curiosity, passion, and informality to show up in my approach. I believe in meeting each client at where they're at in their journey. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, and communication problems.
I focus my approach on being collaborative, warm, and validating with each client’s goals. My approach incorporates EMDR and somatic techniques, which are body-focused to help create a mind and body connection. I also use IFS/parts work in my approach. This may look like exploring different parts of yourself to help build self-trust and cohesiveness within.
A little about my background, I obtained my MA from Webster University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2022. I am EMDR trained and utilize both parts work and somatic practices into my approach. Some (kind of) fun facts about me, I have a BIG German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix and black cat, love to read, and enjoy being outdoors!
