I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Substance Abuse Counselor - In Training. I received a masters degree in social work from UW-Madison in 2014. Following graduation, I practiced as a DPI licensed school social worker for five years, working primarily with elementary aged youth experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. I have extensive experience working in emergency mental health and crisis intervention, mental health commitment case management, and the voluntary psychosocial rehabilitation program, Comprehensive Community Services (CCS). I volunteered with my local domestic abuse and sexual assault crisis line.
Mental health and substance use recovery looks different for everyone. I meet clients where they are, partnering with them on their personal utilizing a non-judgmental, person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma informed approach.
I understand the importance of human interactions and recognize that the biggest catalyst for healthy change is often sparked by a positive connection with another person.
