Hello, my name is Meghan Collins and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and Massachusetts. I graduated from Gallaudet University with a Masters of Social Work in 2013 and have been working in the field with children, adolescents, families and adults ever since. I have experience working with individuals across different life spans who may be experiencing the following symptoms: Anxiety, Depression, Family Stressors, Life Transitions, Parenting Challenges, Relationship Concerns, Stress, and Trauma.
In my practice, I utilize the following therapeutic approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Strengths Based Person-Centered Therapy, and Short Term Solution-Focused Therapy. In my role, I believe in working together with each person and family member to create a meaningful solution to overcome obstacles and improve mood.
If you are ready to build on your growing potential and find meaningful solutions to life's challenges, please contact me. I am available at this time through tele-therapy exclusively.
