I am an empathetic and compassionate person, who provides a safe, non-judgmental, and trusting therapeutic environment to help individuals thrive. Through providing a person-centered therapeutic approach, I help guide individuals to explore stressors and identifying strengths within themselves to change their perceptions and use more positive coping skills. I have a passion for working with children, adolescents and young adults, offering individual and family therapy. I enjoy using creative techniques. such as play and art to help younger children express feelings and find new ways of approaching challenges.
I have several trainings in various disorders focusing on aiding individuals with trauma, OCD, anxiety, depression and behavioral issues. I also help families communicate more effectively with their children by teaching parenting skills. My therapeutic approach would be individually based on the client in order to best help them and their therapeutic goals.
In session, I believe trust and building a therapeutic alliance with my clients is an essential part in achieving individual goals. I provide a positive atmosphere that helps clients process by meeting them where they are with creative and artistic techniques. Providing hope to clients that change is possible through their choices.
