Hello! My name is Meghan Beier, PhD. I am a Health and Rehabilitation Psychologist at the Rowan Center for Behavioral Medicine. While I have experience working with many neurologic disorders, chronic illnesses, disabilities, and rare medical conditions, I have a particular passion and expertise in supporting individuals and families living with multiple sclerosis (MS). I am deeply invested in the MS community, as evidenced by my role on the National MS Society Medical Advisory Board and my role as a patient educator and consultant with Can Do Multiple Sclerosis.
Beyond MS, I am passionate about improving the lives of all people living with challenging medical conditions. This led me to create the Find Empathy podcast, where I feature the voices of those with lived experience, medically-informed mental health providers, researchers, and medical experts. Feel free to listen!
What is even more essential than my credentials is that I sincerely care for all those who seek my help in managing their condition. Together, we will draw on the resources available and develop a relationship built upon support, understanding, and compassion with the goal of aiding you to build an enriched life. Live in a PSYPACT state? I can see you!
