Have you been told you have a strong-willed child? A child that expresses their emotions in a big way that creates challenges. Behavior is the underlying means of communication in children. My passion is helping children and families learn effective ways to communicate their natural big feelings in healthy and positive way. Through play and talk, I work to connect and understand each child’s behavior and together we work to learn skills and techniques to equip children and families during life’s more challenging moments.
I believe in a collaborative approach working with the child, family and any other supports in place to help the child succeed. Together as a team, we will work to create a healing space not only in our sessions but at home as well, empowering both the child and family to handle conflict and stressful situations.
Asking for help and guidance can leave you feeling vulnerable as a parent, but you are not alone. You have already taken the first step by searching for guidance. I am happy to join your journey in understanding your child’s behaviors and helping them discover their full potential in life.
