As a clinical social worker, I believe in our ability to make positive change happen in our own lives. I believe going to therapy is one way to do that. Therapy can be the catalyst for making a change in your life or it can be a soft place to land when an unexpected change has happened.
Most often clients come to me for therapy with everyday life stressors, such as increased stress at work, school, or home. I often work with clients on developing healthier coping skills, setting stronger boundaries and learning to treat themselves with kindness. My approach leans heavily on CBT concepts, but I tailor my work to the individual.
As a former medical social worker, I enjoy supporting healthcare workers experiencing job-related stress and burnout. I also specialize in helping women improve self-esteem, navigate relationships, and establish healthy boundaries. Additionally, I hold a special interest in grief and loss work. I see clients in both Alabama & Mississippi.
