I have been a therapist since 2013 and offer a variety of evidenced-based treatment modalities for exploration and healing. My clients include individuals experiencing stressful and traumatic life transitions such as career changes, pregnancy and infertility, parenting, grief, and cancer/chronic illness diagnoses. I have lived experience with cancer treatment and managing chronic illness. I practice culturally responsive and trauma sensitive therapy and provide a safe, non-judgemental place to process uncomfortable emotions and mental stress. I see my role as a guide to help you and navigate authentic healing.
My therapy practice is grounded in mindfulness and cognitive behavioral approaches. I specialize in a variety of issues including anxiety, grief, perinatal mental health, career and psycho-oncology. I've also contributed to mental health policy and research at the State of New Mexico and the University of Michigan. Publications available upon request.
Seeking therapy is a sign of personal strength and awareness. As your therapist, I will work collaboratively with you and provide practical tools to help you work toward your therapeutic goals.
