About
Life is full of experiences that challenge us and shape us, often including periods of grief and loss and learning to adjust to our environment. I am confident in my over 10 years of social work experience, that together we can navigate through the challenges you are facing. Whether you are navigating a life transition, facing grief and loss, working through a complicated situation or relationship or just realizing that you need more tools for your own self-care, reaching out is the first step. Additionally, I have experience supporting people with cancer and their families, recognizing this is a unique experience.
You will find that my style is dynamic and individual to each person I serve. My goal as a therapist is to meet my clients where they are at and to build on trust and shared goals to best meet your therapy needs. I am trained in grief counseling, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and utilize a person centered and strength based approach.
It takes real courage to be here and to show up for yourself. Experiencing personal struggles, relationship issues and loss impact how we see ourselves and the world around us. Together we will create a space of trust where it is safe to be vulnerable. In a space where you feel seen, heard and understood is where you will then be able to create change.
