Are you a young adult who wants freedom and independence, but are also unsure how to handle all of the responsibilities that come with being an “adult”? Do you feel like you should have it all figured out by now, but in reality- you have no idea what direction you life should go? Are you a young adult who has experienced childhood trauma that is impeding your growth and ability to make decisions? Welcome! I’m Megan and I’m here to help you manage the pressures from others and yourself, explore opportunities that are all around you, and help you imagine the possibilities of a future designed by you!
I believe that young people should have a voice in their futures. I will work to educate, empower, and equip you with the tools you need to navigate adulthood. I am trained in Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Focused -Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I feel my open-mindedness and unique knowledge of young adults who have experienced childhood trauma are my biggest strengths. I am nonjudgmental and therefore, my clients feel safe opening up to me about their past, present, and future. My clients can explore their own identities and are empowered to make decisions for themselves.
