I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and National Certified Counselor. I started my career focusing on mental health. I worked with children and adolescents in a school based program as well as with adults in a community day program. Later, I began specializing in addiction at an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment facility. Most recently, I have been at an inpatient psychiatric hospital prior to moving full-time into private practice. I work with both individuals and families to address mental health and substance use concerns.
As far as treatment goes, I don’t think there is a ‘one size fits all’ option. I view the counseling relationship as a professional partnership and invite you be be a part of the process. My goal is to support people in building skills based off their interests and strengths as well as providing education to facilitate new tools for growth.
Services are provided both face to face in the office as well as online through a secure platform. Finding a therapist that is the right fit can be confusing and yet, it is so important.
