I feel a lively, genuine therapeutic relationship can facilitate the process of healing and self-discovery. I respect all forms of diversity and the creative potential within all of us. Most of my practice is composed of individuals who identify as living on the 'fringe' (outside of the gender binary and heteronormativity). I have 20 years of experience working in queer and trans communities and have traveled the world receiving training, as well as training other therapists. I am also a climate aware/collapse aware therapist and specialize in working with people who want to explore feelings and adaptations to climate catastrophe.
My preferred method of practicing depends on who I am working with. I find that I see most people for long term depth therapy. I use a relational embodied approach, which is focused on relationships and creating healthy dynamics between people and their environment. I have a certification in ecotherapy and offer nature-based approaches for those interested.
My practice is focused on creative professionals and naturey folks (but I'm open to others if you think we'd be a good fit). I work with adults, LGBTQ+ adolescents and their families. I am a play therapist and see gender creative children-3 & up. I run a support group for parents/caregivers raising gender expansive youth and a climate change process group.
