You deserve to be fully seen, and are worthy of being held. Reaching out to a therapist and finding the right fit can be a daunting task, but I hope you will take a deep breath and a moment to connect to have your questions answered. Relationship issues are so hard, even when they're going well. If you find yourself in the messiness of painful family history, attachment issues, big and unmanageable feelings, and are struggling to thrive, make meaning, and be graceful with yourself, believe me-I can relate. It's not too much to ask to heal your inner child by confronting the past that continues to show up in the present.
I specialize in psychotherapy grounded in attachment, trauma, social-emotional development, parent-child relationships, mindfulness and somatic experiencing. My experience as a music therapist and family trauma therapist over the last decade have deepened into a psychotherapy practice that centers compassion, your needs and goals, and a unique perspective.
We're all just doing our best, but it shouldn't have to be so hard, lonely, or painful. If you're struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, family conflict or child issues, you don't have to do it alone anymore. If you're curious about a non-traditional approach to psychotherapy for you or your family, feel free to reach out.
